Participants will meet Stephanie at the Conference Information desk by no later than 2:15 pm, and walk together to the Parliament Hill site.

There is a limited number of spaces. If you have already indicated your interest in participating in this activity on the conference registration form, you will be given priority and asked to sign up in advance via email in the coming weeks, as spaces will be limited. If you have not selected this option on the registration form, you will be able to sign up on-site at the conference information desk, based on availability.

Dinner Night

Tuesday, June 17 at 6:30 pm

Join CES friends and colleagues for dinner at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 17. Three different restaurant options, located in the Ottawa-Gatineau area (ByWard Market and Brewery Creek) are proposed to interested attendees:

  1. Blue Cactus: Centrally located in Ottawa’s ByWard Market, Blue Cactus has been a popular restaurant destination for over 20 years. Its fresh, upscale décor and expanded space create a vibrant evening atmosphere in which to enjoy award-winning margaritas and Contemporary Southwest cuisine, as well as a large selection of contemporary favourites.
  2. Luxe: Luxe bistro restaurant is described as contemporary and refined, yet casual. The freshness and the flavours of the ingredients, and the great service shine through for a great dining experience. Luxe continues to maintain its excellent reputation for serving the best steaks in Ottawa.
  3. Brasseurs du Temps: Celebrate the evening at Les Brasseurs du Temps (located on the banks of the Brewery Creek) with a welcoming offering of the microbrewery’s fresh, crafted beer and a guided tour of the historical site and beer museum by the owner. You will also be treated to a lively BDT beer tasting, followed by a “brasserie style” table d’hôte meal (including vegetarian options). At any time, 16 craft beers and a full menu of wines and spirits will be available.

If you have already indicated your interest in participating in this activity on the conference registration form, you will be given priority and asked to sign up in advance via email in the coming weeks, as spaces will be limited. If you have not selected this option on the registration form, you will also be able to sign up on-site at the conference information desk or be provided with alternate restaurant options, based on availability.
